My factory makes us work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week during peak season. I am exhausted but scared to say no.

Under the Working Time Regulations 1998: - Maximum average working week: 48 hours (averaged over 17 weeks) - You CAN opt out of the 48-hour limit voluntarily, but it must be in writing and you can opt back in with 7 days notice - You are entitled to 11 consecutive hours rest between shifts - You are entitled to one day off per week (or 2 days per fortnight) - You are entitled to a 20-minute rest break if working 6+ hours 72 hours per week exceeds the limit unless you signed an opt-out. Even with an opt-out, your employer has a duty of care to prevent fatigue-related health risks and accidents. If you feel pressured to work excessive hours, contact ACAS: 0300 123 1100.
