We use strong bleach and industrial cleaners to sanitise equipment. I get headaches and my hands burn even through gloves.

Under COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Regulations 2002, your employer MUST: - Provide Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals used - Conduct a COSHH risk assessment - Provide appropriate PPE (chemical-resistant gloves, eye protection, respiratory protection if needed) - Train you on safe handling - Provide adequate ventilation - Provide emergency washing facilities If you are experiencing burns through gloves, the gloves are not suitable for the chemicals being used. Report this to your employer immediately. If they do not act, contact HSE on 0300 003 1647.
